The ducks are here!

Hairstyle for my fathers birthday party

Today we'll celebrate my father turning 60.

On Monday the ducks will be delivered! And cat pictures

Yes! It's time on Monday and they will be delivered rather than us having to pick them up!

No pictures of the ducks yet, so here's our cats instead.

Just a French braid and bad weather

It's really bad weather outside, so we're having a lazy day inside.

Project duck - We are ready!

We should be able to pick up the ducks in two weeks. And we're pretty much ready!

Grass seeds with a thin layer of sand on top of them.

What I bought at the faire

Yup! It's the same as the skirt that I'm wearing, because I love it so much!

More medieval faire

Project duck - gate and paint

My father made a gate and we put it up today.

And I painted the door, window and the frames today.

The frames need one more layer.

Still wearing my chainbraids

Project duck - fence

Saturday we got the poles up. Sunday we dug a "ditch", so that we can put down the net a bit into the ground. And we put up the net.

Here we'll just fill it up with some stones and dirt from the outside.

We attached rebars to get the net more steady when we dig it down, and to make it harder for intruders, to dig their way in.

We also the roofing sheat on.

New YouTube video - Ancient Goddes Hairstyle

Tried a new hairstyle

It's raining so we're taking a break from project duck this afternoon. And so I I came up with a new hairstyle.

What do you think?

Do you want a tutorial?

If so, what should I call the hairstyle?

Project duck. There's a house now!

And a homegrown sallad.

Project duck going forward

Ducklings

Today I've booked four ducklings! I will share them with my father who is also our neighbour.

I'm placing stones around the pond that we've made.

And he's prepparing their house.

The ducks will be here in a few weeks, so we'll be done by then!
